Which one do you think will be the 'better game'? Weapons, graphics, story, gameplay, enemies, etc.

I personally haven't played Duke Nukem Forever because it has been delayed for about 10 years, so I will hold off any judgment between the two. But I think Duke Nukem will be better.

Niko: immigrant, has been in war.
Duke: 300lbs of muscle, steel and testosterone; has been in interplanetary war. By himself. And won.


I think it's pretty clear which game will be better. Hail to the king, baby.

One character doesn't really make one game better than the other. And of course you haven't personally played Duke Nukem. No one has.

Much as I hate to say it.. Niko would die horribly facing the Duke.

Duke Nukem would crush Niko like a bug! Niko is weak, slow, and his armor and health can't last very long against enemy fire.

Weapons;

Rocketlauncher - shoots about one missile per 5 seconds.
Devastator - shoots about, what, 4 missiles per second?

I'd list all the weapons... but then what fun would that be for any other fan?

can you drive on any Nukem game? only played on or two

I am not a huge FPS fan, but I enjoyed the previous Duke Nukem games. I think the only problem with FPS's is that they are limited in scope and gameplay elements. Even Halo games, which I love, seem to be getting a little old. I wonder how much I will actually enjoy Duke Nukem Forever or if I am more interested in the nostalgic value of it. Because the last Duke Nukem game I played was around 1999, which was long before the true 3D sandbox GTA games came out.

Plus, I have a shitload of FPS's on my shelf I have never even opened, much les played. I have Quake IV, F.E.A.R., resistance and several others. Well Resistance I played a level or two but got bored. I am starting to wonder if perhaps I am just not interested in the genre anymore.

I seriously doubt it. I amm sure the graphics in the game will be awesome. Graphics is one of the things that FPS's usually have in abundance.

I think the GTA series is a lot more popular than the Duke Nukem games. But I've played both, so I can't decide. Duke Nukem I FTW!
