I was randomly on the internet channel talking on ebuddy msn, then this message popped up saying IF YOU DON'T DOWNLOAD ANTIVIRUS 2009 YOUR COMPUTER COULD GET INFECTED! then I clicked install and I am shown this white screen of death. I exitted the internet channel, went on my computer and asked my friend about it. he said antivirus 2009 is a fake software instead it's a virus. My wii runs on a seperate ethernet cable that goes into my wall and is not connected to my computer. PLEASE HELP! this is not a joke topic.

The Wii Internet channel can't download things to my knowledge, so you should be alright.

Help on what? You didn't say what happened to the Wii. Did you try turning it back on? A virus software made for computers shouldn't work as intended on a Wii... or even install right.

What happens on the Wii, stays on the Wii.

Your computer should be fine, it shouldn't spread.

And the Wii won't be affected by computer viruses.

Yes nothing shoild happen to thw Wii, so you should be ok!

thanks to all who helped, but incase you didn't know, there's NO way a virus could come up to my computer because my Wii isn't even plugged into my computer. It runs on an ethernet cable which plugs into a lan adapter which plugs into the USB slot on the wii. All that getting feeded into the wall.
