It's probably a side quest, but at the back of hyrule castle (the place where that ugly bug collector is) There's a goron thing saying "if you give me some hot spring water I can break down this barrier" or something like that, I tried countless times to bring the water to him before it cools, but it doesn't work. Also, that lazy guy at the broken bridge, I fixed the bridge and now he says I should bring him some hot springwater, I think I managed to get it to him before it cools, but I just pore it on him and nothing happens. Help?

you need to talk to the black elder goron in kkrk village for a barrel of hot spring water, and run across the entire field carrying it to the lazy goron. stick to the edge, and no time limit. don't get hit.

1. Donate 1000 Rupees to Malo Mart to fix the bridge at the West entrance to Hyrule Castle Town.

2. Talk to the Goron elder outside of Malo Mart and he will give you a barrel of hot springwater. Run it over to the Goron sitting by the new bridge and throw it at him (you may want to run along the edge of the cliff to avoid Leevers, those things that come out of the ground). He will feel rejuvenated, roll back to Kakariko village to get more springwater for his store, and drop off a heart piece on the bridge on his way back.

3. As a bonus, you can go to his shop by the South gate and purchase some springwater to put in a bottle, and then bring it to the Goron in the field south of town. He will feel energized enough to clear the rocks out of your way, creating a path to Castle Town from the Faron field.

4. After the bridge has been built, Malo Mart will ask for more Rupees, 2000 to be exact. But, if you choose to complete step 2, they will only ask for 200 Rupees (Warning! Anything you donate while they are asking for 2000 will not roll over to when they ask for 200. Do not donate anything else without first completing step 2). Once you have paid all 200 Rupees, go to where the fancy store once was in Hyrule Castle Town. It will now be a Malo Mart with a fun and hilarious atmosphere (and LOW LOW PRICES!). There you can buy arrows, red potion, blue potion, all three types of bombs, and the magic armor, which costs 598 Rupees and will prevent you from losing any hearts as long as you have Rupees. But be warned, this thing sucks up Rupees FAST, so only wear it in an emergency. If you run out of Rupees while wearing it, it will slow you down to the point where it is like walking in the Iron Boots, in which case you will obviously have to change out of it).
