Just a place to talk about how your Manager Mode season is going so far:

I started a season as Southend United in league one and my first game was at Home to Tranmere Rovers. A silly mistake gave them the lead on 27 minutes but i pulled one back through Barnard a minute later. It was then a tight affair until the 70th minute when up popped Walker to tap home. Held on for a 2-1 win.

I've just played Millwall away and i won 2-0. Barrett was sent off early on and i thought shit. Saved their penalty, sprinted up the other end and scored. Scored another through Simon Francis which was a peach, waiting for it to upload. Hit the bar from 40 yards with Freedman.

In the transfer market, Richie Foran and Paul Furlong have been loaned out whilst i have sold Matt Harrold. Put bids in for Guilherme and another player and signed a youth player from South Africa.

I have to say, I don't like Manager Mode very much. I just don't enjoy it as much as I would say a Master League in PES. Plus I started a game with Aston Villa and straight away I bought Benzema.

I started the game and cudnt find how to do transfers so played a couple of games then the window was closed! I think i'll start again, ive worked out how to do them!

I'm about a dozen games into the season with Arsenal. I made a few early season trades and managed to snag Christiano Ronaldo and snag (back) Thierry Henry among others. I started the season pretty badly, with two home losses and a draw from my first 3 games. Things turned around after half a dozen games though, and now I'm on a nice winning streak while sitting 1st on the ladder. Henry and Ronaldo sit first and second on the goal scoring tally, Henry with over 20 goals for the season. Fabregas has probably been my best player, with 7 assists, 9 goals and the highest number of passes and tackles in my team. My keeper (Valdes) has also been great, with a few clean sheets under his belt and a nice save percentage of around 85%.

Despite my poor start, things are actually a little too easy now. Lately I've been beating teams by 6+ goals, even big teams like Liverpool and Chelsea. I am playing on Professional, so perhaps I should bump up the difficulty.

Doing well with Hull, Just beat Spurs 3-0, Arsenal 2-0 and Villa 2-0. Managed to grab Dirk Kuyt and Aaaron Ramsey for my team aswell.

For my restarted manager mode (after working out how to do transfers...) ive chosen Man City! So far ive signed Ezequiel Garay, Rafinha, Francesco Totti and Guillermo Ochoa who have all slotted neatly into the starting line up.

Started with a great thrashing of sunderland 3-0, a convincing win against hull 2-0 and a tighter game with fulham which ended as a 1-0 win thanks to an etuhu goal! The next game was the manchester derby, a tight game, plenty of chances with bojinov hittin the inside of the post late on, but the game ended 0-0, a good result away from home.

That game ended along with the end of the transfer window and the end of a few players' man city careers as their were made surplus to requirements and shipped off. Strangest venture was danny mills going to rival team Manchester Utd?!

The results meant that i was sitting pretty at the top of the table with 10 pts level with tottenham, but better goal difference thanks to 4 clean sheets seperated the two of us.

With fatigue beginning to kick in man city's squad will soon be tested. Will man city sink or swim? Will this run of clean sheets carry on? Will danny mills come back to haunt man city the next time they clash???!

I started as United & signed Gerrard for 18M. I was second in the league after 4 games with 3 wins and a draw (Chelsea, 2-2). I play on professional mode, also.

Im world class!! Just racked up a few draws though... Really good games though

Just started an A-League with Sydney FC, will be playing every match to get the achievement, as i usually Sim 5-10 a season. Didn't make a single signing, instead i used my money on upgrading my fitness coach.
Haven played 6 matches so far, here are the results:
Wellington 0-2 Sydney
Sydney 0-0 Melbourne (thanks to a penalty save from Clint Bolton)
Newcastle 1-1 Sydney (thanks again to another penalty save from Clint Bolton)
Sydney 2-2 Queensland
Newcastle 1-0 Sydney
Sydney 1-0 Adelaide (thanks to an 82nd minute penalty)

Not a bad start to the season, in 4th spot, anyone know if they have the play offs?

Am playing professional as my beloved newcastle, signed mexes for 6 million, sold cacapa and a load of the youngsters, also let lualua bassong and kadar go out on loan, smashed blackburn 4-0 first game, then beat the mackems 2-0 then boro 2-0 and absolutley pulverised villa 6-0, that'l teach milner for leaving hahaha!just beat bristol rovers 2-0 in the cup xisco scoring a brace, got man u away next with trips to spurs and hull and a visit from west brom next few games. I am in 2 minds wether to upgrade my staff to as much as i can (got 30+ million in the bank, ticket price medium) or invest in a few players next transfer window cos am selling most of the reserve players (smith, butt ect) what you guys reckon?

I've finished my first Premier League season with Arsenal (on Professional), I just have the FA Cup final left to play. I finished the season on top of the table, 6 or 7 games clear of Tottenham who finished second (lols, if only they could in real life). I only had 4 losses for the season, and my best winning streak was 22 matches. 3 of my players were in the top 5 goal scorers for the season, Henry on top with over 50 goals, Ronaldo in 2nd, and Fabregas in 5th. As for training my players, I managed to get Ronaldo to 99 after just one season, I also got half a dozen players over 90, aswell as my created player to 74. Not bad for a 16 year old.

I was relatively untroubled during the season, with my average winning margin somewhere around 4 goals. I even scored an insane 15 goals against Aston Villa in the League Cup final. My last Premier League match for the season was a great one though, Man Utd V Arsenal at Old Trafford. I scored the first goal 30min in but Man Utd equalised late in the half before hitting the lead just before half time. I equalised shortly after the second half began, and slotted home the winner in the last 15 minutes of the match.

Now I have Tottenham to play for the FA Cup. Shouldn't be too hard, as I've rested by better players so they're fully fit for the final.

Once the season is over I'll think about making a few transfers at the start of the 09-10 season. I'm currently deciding whether to get rid of Gallas or not. If I do, Vidic and Kompany are my favourites to take over for him.

Have one season on SemiPro as Man u , completed 1st season and most of the way through season 2 as was simming a number of matches , using it to get a feel for the game.

my second manager is Pro and started with Bristol City in League 1 , crrently 4th on the table around 10pts behind wolves in 1st.
In the english cup am currently up against Arsenal who i was beating 1-0 but then my console froze so need to do it again lol

Currently half way through November with my Manchester United team. Haven't bought anyone as I always do my dealings in the market in January. So far Rooney is my star man with 20 or so goals and Berbatov not far behind with around 15.

game so far has to be against Chelsea after I won 8-0. Simply an outstanding performance from every single player.

Hopefully I can bring in Kaka and Walcott during the January transfer window.
