Changes?

Okay I got a Question about this game. do they change anything in the game like in a link to the past on the GBA they chaged things like the menu and part of a level. so are these the same games from there original systems?

re: Changes?

All they changed for the Collector's Edition was a few things to make it work with the GameCube controller. Instead of the C buttons, you have the C stick (or the X, Y, and Z buttons for the left, down, and right C buttons) on OoT and MM. Also added in was the use of the Control Pad like in The Wind Waker, to open or close your map.

As for the famous Z-Targeting... It's L-Targeting in this version, so any time they mention using the Z Button on the N64 controller, it is changed to L Button. And the little shapes symbolizing the A and B button in the corner of the screen now look like the GameCube buttons, not the N64 buttons. But the C Button symbols are the same.

Other than that, OoT and MM are the same (with the exception that there is a slight sound discrepancy, and when you save your game it shows the usual GCN "Saving... Do not touch the Memory Card or the Power Button" or whatnot).

As for the NES titles, they are almost exactly the same. The R, L, and Y buttons are not used (I think), the C stick is not used, the START/PAUSE button is for (duh) the START button, the X is SELECT, the A and B are their NES counterparts, and the Z gives you a general menu to Return to your game, Reset the game (like resetting your NES), or Quit the game. The last one takes you back to the main menu of the various games.

I hope that cleared it up well enough for you. If not... I don't know what else I can say.
