I seen many Move list FAQs, but there is something I don’t understan: Haw or where from are they getting the moves? They don’t mention anything about official strategy guides or anything. I know there are some games that has the in-game list but most don’t like mortal kombat. Can some one clear this up for me? Thank you

Either from online sources, or they find it out in the game themselves. Quite a lot of moves, if not all, are usually listed in the strategy guide depending on the game.

I've done a lot of these FAQs, and just about all of them (move lists) I get from the game itself, either through experimenting or from move lists accessible by some menu from the pause screen.

I seen many FAQs that dont mention where they got the moves, so is it ok to take moves from another guide and dont say anything about it? You cant see in game list in games like MK.

Taking from another FAQ is not allowed, and frankly its pointless, if your only going to be taking stuff from someone elses FAQ, then they'd just be two versions of the exact same FAQ. If you do create a FAQ make sure that you don't take anyone elses work and claim it as your own. Most of the times official guides, official sites or even forums can be good resources for moves lists.

So its ok to take moves from official guides, official sites or forums? Also do you have to clear this up in the FAQ? Because as I said I never seen any one say this in his FAQ.
