Speakers not working

When i open up my itunes, my songs do not play. It says somethings wrong with my Audio/Sound device but when i pull up my Sound/Audio in control panel i get this:


Also, This is how my Device Manager is looking like:


Please can anybody help me, My speakrs were working fine for the past month. This started about a week or 2 ago.

what kind of computer do you have? have you tried reinstalling the sound drivers?

I believe my computer is custom build my brother did it for me. BUt how do i reinstall the sound drivers?

do you or your brother have the disks that came with your motherboard? if not you can download and run Everest Home Edition and then under computer>summary it should tell you what sound card you have. you can post what it says here or you can google it.

Also, the second one it says im missing 22 Drivers or something but you have to pay 30 bucks for it?

same happend to me. what it is is your sound drivers have gone so best thing to do is if you know what type of driver your sound chip uses then dounload it online, what i did was buy a cheap sound card
if you have a custom built pc then you should have the disks for all the device drivers so just re install. if it doesnt ork your gonna need to buy a sound card >.>
