I am running WA on my PC which has XP. I have installed the official latest patch from the official WA site, but the game still terminates when I start a game. That is, I can navigate all the front-end stuff, but when I actually start a battle, it just quits. I am suspecting that my CD is corrupted. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I could get my game to work, as it is one of my favourite games ever!

yeah i have the same exact problem. it used to work fine but i got this new kickass computer and it just goes black forever when I try to start a game. I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE ANY HELP!!!!

Hitting CTRL+ALT+DEL will bring up Task Manager in XP, which will allow you to terminate the wa.exe process (Worms Armageddon).

I have the same problem as you guys at the moment, but I hope this saves some unnecessary rebooting!

You need to patch your game. Go to http://wa.team17.com/main.html?page=supp&area=upda and try the 3.0.5.0 beta 2 patch before any others.
