 I had to pick up the first twelve due to Booth's art. I was a Kindred fan way back. Stormwatch and Backlash too.You lot look into Locke and Key yet? Locke and Key is an indie comic, right? Since I've been having pretty good luck with Indies I might just check it out. That and I blindly trust you with my comic reading life, Mac.

As well you should. It is an indie from IDW... created by Joe Hill (King's son) and is on ish 4 of its second six issue series. Basically, you have a family relocate to the ancestral home after the father is murdered by a crazed teen. None of the family members are handling it well. Bode is the youngest and the first to discover the magical keys in the ancestral home. The keys are slowly revealed one at a time and only function after being inserted into the proper lock. Bode seems to have an imaginary friend in the well house... said imaginary friend has a connection to his father's killer... who escapes and comes to finish his work.

Might help if there was ever a consistent definition of indie.
 Some say anything not big two is indie. Some say anything not Marvel, DC, Image, Dark Horse, and Archie is indie. Some say anything with no editorial staff is indie.
