Let's see how long it takes the upcoming DOCTOR Voodoo series to get canned.
The reason it makes sense is because it's another example of a character that Bendis pushes instead of allowing to naturally grow. Well, i really disliked that Voodoo got the mantle of sorcerer supreme. Actually, it was Bendis's terrible handling of that whole arc that convinced me to drop the book completely.

I was hoping the Hood or some "good" character would get it. Now were stuck with a queer guy who 50% of people haven't even heard of.

Brother Voodoo isn't a bad character, but as i said before, Bendis's handling of him has been pretty weak.

The thing about Brother Voodoo is that when you look at the stable of Marvel characters, he's really not a defined character. And by defined, I'm meaning explored and utilized. Think about it.

Indeed. For me that story was a gutpuncher up there with the likes of the suicide attempt issue from Elementals.

Like a dream. Imagine a drama about a PI firm with the members having superpowers. David rocks. He takes everything that X-books have been criticized for and uses it to explore the characters and provide excellent stories. The team is comprised of C-listers and less that he makes shine.

I'll give the book a look. I know my local shop has a few back issues, so it couldn't hurt any.
