That's great info, but if you have any more, yes, please post it. You should probs just edit that post in a differant colour or something. Anyway, could you explain how he created those characters, how the Hulk and wolverine were enlisted and which horseman did they play and why?
If you don't mind, I'd like the Avengers info next...

Well, here's an Avengers chronology...
The Early Years* (my own title covers up to next saga) The Kree and Skrull War The Korvac Saga The Yesterday Quest The Trial of Yellowjacket West Coast Avengers (mini series) Vision Quest The Masters of Evil The Collection Obsession Shi'ar and Kree War** Bloodlines
** I need to look up the title for this one. It was a massive Avengers crossover where the Shi'ar Empire took over the Kree.

That Avengers crossover between with the war between the Shi'ar and Kree was titled Galactic Storm.
The original line up in the Avengers was: Antman Wasp Thor Hulk Iron Man
The Hulk quit at the end of issue two and was replaced by the revived WWII hero Captain America in issue 4. Issue 16 had a new group of Avengers led by Captain America. These other members were all previously villains. The second lineup in Avengers was:
Captain America Hawkeye Scarlet Witch Quicksilver
The Wasp and Giant Man rejoined the team shortly after this. Giant Man was the new identity for Ant Man.

Ok, this is just a bit of an experiment. If there is enough positive responses here, we may get a dedicated forum for this.
What is your all time favourite super hero/ villain and why?
If you read any marvel comics, are there any story lines that particularly stand out for you and why?
Do you own any computer/console games that based on marvel heroes and which ones? ( Such as wolverines revenge or spiderman the movie.) Which are the best and worst of these?
Favourite marvel based movie? Spiderman, X-men, X2, Hulk, Daredevil? Super hero : Wolverine, he is a signature character of Marvel, has been apart of some of the best Storylines ever produced by marvel and is just a cool character to boot. Super Villian : Mister Sinister, he is just a nasty piece of work, and I love the look he has in the comics. Storylines : Morlock Massacre, it was one of the first comic storys I read from US, it stood out like no other comic had done to me before and It made me an X-man fan for life. Infinity War was another one I thought quite good, still a big fan of Drax the Destroyer. There are many others, but It'd take me all night to list them. Games : Have X-men Next Dimension on PS2, which is barely playable, but I do so anyway... Wolverines Revenge on the X-box which I really like, have had games in the past, like Spiderman on the Megadrive, but not much else. Can't wait for the Marvel Mmorpg that is currently in devolpment. Film : X2, it was awesome, and can't wait to see Phoenix in X3.

Ok, the next bio will be one of Hawkeye.
Hercules joined shortly after the Wasp and Giant Man returned to the team. Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch left shortly before the Black Panther joined. Shortly after that Thor, Cap, and Iron Man returned. The Vision was introduced and joined not long after this.

I'm a past X-Men fan, and my interests in the comic series have recently been revived. I read few comics, but I loved the cartooon which I grew up with and gainerd most of my knowlege from.
Anyway, just wondering if you could give me the essential comics that belong in the Age of Apocalypse saga, which ones I should have, and how much it would cost me to go out and buy the saga.
Also, the secret wars was presented in the Spiderman cartoon, no? If so, could you tell me who all the people that were captured and had to fight in the war were, and how much it'd cost me to collect this storyline as well?

For the Age of Apocalypse the regular titles were suspended for four months and new titles were introduced for the duration of AoA. These are the ones that i have, although there may have been one or two that i missed.
X-Men: Alpha This was a one-shot that gave an overview of the AoA. Its got a cool shiny cover! I'm lucky enough to have bought it at retail price.
Amazing X-men issues 1-4
Astonishing X-Men issues 1-4
These were about the new X-men, lead by Magneto.
Factor-X
Generation Next
X-Calibre issues 1-4
i dont know much about these ones, I foolishly didnt pick them up.
Weapon X issues 1-4
This one was my favourite title of the AoA. It's about Logan and Jean's adventures as renegade mutant couriers. Real Good!
Gambit and the X-Ternals 1-4
About Gambit and his band of renegade mutants, the X-ternals. This title was awesome because I love Gambit and Jubilee and they were both in the X-Ternals.
X-Man 1-4 This is about Nate Grey, a mutant who was introduced for AoA, and the only aspect of the AoA that carried on into the normal X-Men continuity.
X-Men Omega Another one shot that wrapped up the whole saga and reinstated the normal X-Men continuity.
If i missed any let me know!

Awesome info Mantis. The next question is, Where can we pick those titles up from. Maybe not in comic form but in a combined issue graphic novel or something?

Any chance on a Deadpool bio?

I know how you feel. I bought a comic yesterday (X-men) that was £1.90. Considering all the available ones on sale that pretty expensive.
Hey, I just found this.
X-Men: Legends Announced
quote GameSpy
In following word coming out of various mediums and publications, Activision today officially announced development of X-Men: Legends for the Xbox, PlayStation 2 and GameCube. In development at Activision’s Raven Software studio, X-Men: Legends takes the X-Men into the RPG genre, giving players the ability to select from 15 X-Men spanning 40 years, X-Men including: Wolverine, Cyclops, Storm, Nightcrawler, Colossus, Gambit and Beast. While specifics on the plot weren’t revealed, Activision did state that enemies such as the Morlocks, the Sentinels and the Brotherhood of Mutants would be featured in the upcoming title. On the gameplay side of things, X-Men: Legends will support multiplayer team-ups with 1-4 player support. The game will also player versus player battles through the X-Men’s Danger Room. X-Men: Legends is expected to ship during 2004. Stay with us for more on the game as it develops.
Sounds good huh?

Awesome info Mantis. The next question is, Where can we pick those titles up from. Maybe not in comic form but in a combined issue graphic novel or something? To my knowledge the Age of Apocalypse has not been collected in a trade paperback format. My local comic store has all four issues of each title collected together in a bundle for i think 20 or 25 australian dollars per title. If you want X-Men alpha or Omega you will have to be prepared to pay considerably more. If you want the entire saga, you're looking at a considerable outlay. quite possibly over 150 australian dollars.

Mantis, there was also a two issue X-Universe series which chronicled the other Marvel Heroes. There have been collected volumes of each four issue series. I don't know if they are still in print or not. Each one had a gold foil cover.
