Recently got into the whole Ultimate Marvel series universe'

And I completely love some of the Wildstorm Stuff. Planetary and the Authority stuff. (Ellis Rules! by the way...)

Just was perusing through some of the first few pages on the forums and was distressed not to see any Wildstorm pages... any fans in here?

hello. i was just refered to this section of neoseeker. i never knew this existed, or i wud hav visited earlier. im a marvel fan. my favorites are Wolverine, Thanos, alot of the cosmics like silver surfer, galactus, Warlock. i also read a few X-books, new avengers, cable/deadpool, and the ultimate universe. i also like StarWars comics, and am looking forwrd to Legacy. and i read a couple dc titles. superman/batman, green lantern, and i luv swampthing. dont like dc much tho. i also have quite a collection

ya kno, i dont use alot of things like myneoforum and stuff cuz i come on neoseeker from my psp. loadin takes to long to do unnecesary things. but it is bookmarked in my favorites.

Well, I'm DareDevil5 and have always been a "big" comic fan (for the most part). I read them when I was like 9-11 and then stopped for what ever reason may be. But i'm 17 and actually have money now to pay for those that I like so much: Ultimate X-Men, Ultimate Spider-Man, Marvel Adventurers, The Amazing and Spectacular Spider-Mans, and a lot more that i'd have to go look at.

Well, i'm back at reading comics and i've never been happier.

Hey I'm The Effekt. Big fan of X-Men comics. Love Marvel in general actually. Not that big of a DC fan though. Favourites are Punisher, Spiderman and X-Men. Currently reading House of M(8 Part Series involving the X-Men & The Avengers) and I am up to issue 6. Just finished reading Civil Wars #1 yesterday and once I finish House of M and am planning to begin reading Ultimate X-Men.

Thing is, although I've read a few X-Men which I thoroughly enjoyed, I never really got into the whole concept under the thought that it was an 80's and 90's sort of culture, and that it must be dying or dead by now and I've missed it. But I guess it's not quite gone yet. How would I start getting "into" the whole thing? What wwould you reccomend I read?

Thought I would stop by the comic forum and say ello! In my early twenties now and I'm just now starting to get into this comic thing. Well sorta' On a whim I picked up Astonishing X-men Vol.1. I was so taken by the story I immediately went out and bought the other two vol. currently available.

Well needless to say Astonishing X-men sparked my interest. I hit up marvels community board and have been sent on a mission. I'm starting with the Essential X-men graphic novels. I currently have vol.1-4

I'm very excited to see Marvel.com has started a new virtual comic store, but after trying the free issues I ran into a few issues.

All and all I'm just here to say I will probably be popping in and out of this subforum; either throwing my two cents in or just asking some stupid questions. Please be patient with me. I'm a noob when it comes to comics.
