I wish I knew what people thought of the events of Ragnarok (which is why Thor has been gone). ------------------- ![]()

I haven't read all of Ragnarok, but did enjoy what I've read. I believe Oeming was the one who wrote it and it was an excellent trial run of sorts for his astounding Ares series. The section in Ragnarok with Thor having to sacrifice his eyes was one of the most memorable moments to me. Oeming can write Thor any day in my book, and I believe he has the stuff to have an inspiring run on the series which would be fondly remembered with the three great runs on Thor... Lee/Kirby, Simonson, and Jurgens/Romita Jr. ------------------- quote SlackerBooks&Lit Comics Transformers: The Movie Gundam

Do you know if they've come out with a graphic novel of it? I'd sure like to read it... ------------------- ![]()

I'm sure they did. Marvel's been horrendously quick on collected editions these past few years... as in the month after a story is finished. I'll check the backlist catalog at the shop tomorrow when I pick up this week's books and see what I can find out. ------------------- quote SlackerBooks&Lit Comics Transformers: The Movie Gundam

I've never been a Thor fan so forgive me if this has been done, but don't you think that Loki could so with a mini series giving him centre stage? I'm thinking of something along the lines of what Vertigo did with Lucifer. ------------------- There's a line in the sand, you can't even see the line

My friend was telling me that he was reading the Civil War comics online somewhere and I was wondering if anyone could give me a link to that site, or a similar site where I could read Marvel comics online. I've been wiki surfing a lot and all of the Marvel stuff is really interesting to read but I currently don't have a job so I can't go out and buy comics on a regular basis.

I'm assuming you're talking about the Thor disassembled storyline? If so, I read that. I thought the overall story was okay but the way they presented it felt like you were watching a movie on fast forward. I wasn't sure when half the stuff was happening and it quickly jumped from one thing to another. I've never been too much of a Thor fan so my unfamiliarity could be the reason for this though. Has anyone read the description for the giant size one shot Halloween wolverine that's coming up? I saw the cover and if the art is anything like it, I'll probably pick it up.

Don't know if anyone else has come across this, but I came along a manga sized graphic novel today of the Scorpion (new version) who's a teenage chick with a poisonous arm working for SHIELD.....and it wasn't bad. Anybody else come across it? ------------------- There's a line in the sand, you can't even see the line

Yep. Decent little story actually. What you have is a reprint of the original story which ran in the now defunct Amazing Fantasy. This version of the Scorpion also appeared in Hulk during House of M. I think she's all but disappeared since. Pity. ------------------- quote SlackerBooks&Lit Comics Transformers: The Movie Gundam
