	I may be the last person in the world to hear this, but for anybody who didn't know and likes Buffy, Joss Whedon and other Buffy writers are doing a canonical season 8 with Dark Horse comics. The first six-issue volume is due out this October: -------------------

	Nice... I know they've released some Angel TPBs that are set after Season 5 but I'm not sure if they were canonical or not...

	No, he's leaving the bulk of it to the Buffy writing team. He's actually doing both projects now. I think he's leaving Astonishing mainly to focus on his two movie projections obviously one being Wonder Woman and the other being Goners. He's also got a few more projects he's mulling around with as well which I'm sure has all the Whedonverse screaming Spike Movie...

	Tim Minear would actually the the writer/director for Spike, should it be greenlit for a TV movie. -------------------

Angel gets to continue fictional life (or is that undeath?) in comic form at IDW with Angel: After the Fall. The man tapped for the writing chores by creator Joss Whedon himself will already be familiar to fans of Angel-related comics: he’s Brian Lynch, the writer of Spike: Asylum and Spike: Shadow Puppets. We’ve spoken to Lynch, and he delivers as much as he can from behind the cloak of secrecy (and pesky Wolfram and Hart contracts). And in Spike's recent limited series also from IDW, the poor slob gets turned into a muppet. 	So I must say, after having a lot of doubts in the series after the first arch, this Faith arch has actually rekindled my interest. Which is odd, considering I was never really fond of Faith. But this is the way the series should be, small focus, story development. The first arch was just all over the place, huge battles, over-the-top plotline, I mean come on. Hopefully they continue doing what they're doing now and not the overblown stuff again. ------------------- 'It's also created in him a deep, deep disdain for urban bats...'
