Do you think Kain has all of this planned out? The fact that Raziel surpassed him, the destruction of the blade? The death of his childre?

He didn't look all that surprised when a very angry Raziel rocked up on his doorstep without warning.

Gald I am not the only one who noticed this. I am so very eager for the sequel.

It also seems that he is a little suicidal, what with giving Raziel the soul reaver. he so knew that was gonna happen.

I dn't think he is suicidal so much as crazy like a fox. He want Raziel to either A)kill him, B)kill his past self, or C) as some sort of catalyst to have him (Kain) Make the correct desicion in the past.

I really think through the use of literary liscence, we are going to see the events surronding the challenges Kain faced in the quest to kill Mobius. But I do recall reading something elsewhere of the timeline that will be utilized in this game. It seems that Mortainus is really possesed by the demongod who's alter was found under the CHurch in Abernes. It was Mortainius who murdered Ariel while under the demon's control. It also alluded that you will travel into the very distant past. To the time of Janos Aldren and earlier. Vorador will be back as well. His features have been changed a bit but he is there. I will see if I can dig up the article for more information.

He wants an ending. not good, not bad but just and ending. Kain seems to be tired of life but cannot end it. I want to know what happened to Turel, and his Turelim.

I do recall that we will have that particular question answered. Could it be that Turel as trespassed against Kain? I mean, of all the vamps your fought, his childre were the hardest to battle.

Lets assume that Turel did double cross Kain for a minute. Why were his children still around when Raziel's clan was wiped off the face of Nosgoth. The Dumahim, Melchihim, Rahabim and the Zephonim are all left without masters. does that mean that they will die out or does it simply mean that they don't evolve further? and finally, Why did Kain children Mutate so horribly when Kain himself remained the same?

Raziel's clan was wiped out because he surpassed Kain. all the other clans hunted down the Razielen vampires to the last because of their sires transgression. Melchia, Zephon, and Rahab are still leading their clans. But as Melchia said, "The master makes himself known when "he"sees fit, and not when called." This indicated that Kain still interacts with his prodgeny at some point. More interesting is why they, having grown so..."divine" never challenged Kain. Especially Melchia who seems to want death. After all, he does say "Released!" After Raziel ends his life.

Dumah's brood still survives but those few remaining are looked down on as scavengers only. I doubt the death of Dumah would stop their growth in power, but apperently, only the sires can make new vampires.

I have my own idea as to why each did mutate so. I think, each has mutated to be some bizzare extentsion of Kain's own personality. In Raziel you have what was noble, but Kain let die... which is which Kain did what he did to him... to beter make RRaziel the nobilty he, Kain, shhould have been. Melchia was the self-loathing, Zephon was lost to what Kain once accused Vorador of falling to... decadence. Rahab exemplified inhumanity, while Dumah was that which is arrogence. Turel... well, I have ideas, but it will have to wait. (My personel opinion however, is that Turel is Kain's imperialism and expansion-mindedness. Turel's children are all the most powerful of all the vampires you battle. Not unlike the Legions of the Nemesis, don't you think?)

Kain did not evolve. That seemed strange. Melchia hit as hard as kain and lived partially in the specteral realm, Dumah was invincible Rahab could swim and Zephon climb. All together they could have demolished Kain and taken over.

That only leaves one thing. They feared Kain. Despite all their powers, none of them could best him and each was to proud to allie with their brethren. And reguardless, No matter how great their combined powers might have been, they feared that Kain was that much more powerful. I mean not a single gift you earned actually could touch Kain.

I suppose that no matter what happens you cannot fight your father, no matter how much you hate him. Raziel was disowned by Kain, and the patricide commited gave him fury to fight.

Who's malech?I saw his name at the seraphan tomb along with all the other vampire generals but you never fight him .

He was a character from Blood Omen. The original game. Malek was the Sarafan leader who allowed the council to fall. For that, he was damned, his soul fused to his own magic armor. Imagine living armor with no body within it weilding a large naginata. Kain clashes with him several times, but his fate in uncertain as he disappears after battling Vorador. You find his lifeless armor after you kill two other members of the Council.
