Hail and welcome Sarah. It has been out for the better part of about 2 years now. It's ending tendind to get to people as it established that this would be a serialized game rather then a one shot wonder with an only barly related sequel.

It is itself a sequel of the original game Blood Omen (Itself soon to have a sequel) and has just released it's second installment on October 31 01.

As to future installments.... who knows when the next Soul Reaver game will come... but it is all far from over.

It was (and still is) a rewriting of the action/RPG genre. The game s beautifully gloomy, with NO loading times... ever... It requires brains, not just the ability to charge in, guns a blazin'.

Actually, the load times are just well hidden in the manner of the cutscenes wherein Raziel opens doors and the like. Those little scenes cover the loading of the next area.

I think we all would have realised that. it's just that it hasn't got the boring screen saying LOADING...

Hey is this game scary? I've got a little cousin who's eight, and he loves playing video games. If I buy it is it too scary for him to play?

It is possible that it is too scary. There is a lot of violence and you build up apprehension as you travel through the world as you fear what is around the corner. This title is probably better for mature gamers.

It's aimed at M15+, I thought this game was more enoyable then the sequel on ps2.

seeking answer on how to beat Domar the fifth brother already have him in the middle of the furnace cant seem to get the fire to light , switches dont seem to be working one will light other will not.

Have you tried to switch them in different orders and stuff like that? Perhaps a new thread would have been more appropriate.

Well, I'm 12 and I', playing and enjoying this game without saying: "oooooh how nasty!!" . I didn't play the PS2 version, tough .

I haven't played the first Soul Reaver game yet but I always hear about how cool it was from my friend. I have played Soul Reaver 2 (which is kinda weird since I didn't play the first and didn't know the true story line). I am also playing Blood Omen 2: Legacy of Kain for ps2. I want to play the playstation soul reaver but I can't find it around in the stores around here. Its all the new gaming system games. Do you think I would like soul reaver if I have only played their sequels

If you liked Soul Reaver 2, I envy you because you have PS2...

Now talking seriously . If you liked SR2, then you may surely like SR1; but expect poorer graphics.
