You have to hit it with the magic glove thing. The boxing glove on a spingy thing. You get this as the last gadget when you do all the levels. If you havent got this gadget yet then leave those monkeys for now and go and find specter.

Where is Spector in that level? I'm down to the last monkey that is in that box on top of the castle but I can't get past this point and it's driving me nuts.
