Ultima 1236/2000 USB Scanner |
|
Hello Everyone,
I have a Ultima 2000 USB scanner, my usb ports are working fine, i have all the latest drivers. I recently upgraded my OS from WIN 98 SE to WIN XP Pro. I tried installing this scanner on both OS's. I still get the same error when I try and use the scanner through either Scanpanel, videowave or any other scanner software. The error is " TWAIN ERROR", make sure that the scanner is connected, blah blah blah. It hasn't worked. The scanner did work a few years ago on a WIN 95 machine and another WIN 98 SE machine. I undersatnd that the TWAIN is the file or application that the scanner uses to interact with the software. Even the TWAIN Group doesn't help? I would really appreciate some help here, if anyone can help, if not I have a USB scanner for sale.

Even if you do have all the drives, check for new ones at the website of the manufacturer that you bought it from. That helped me out when I tried to connect to a dig. camera before. Hope it works out.

I had the same problem before.Just solved the problem with help.
Go to DriverGuide.com download the driver for 1236 usb name "U2KXP_V293.EXE" install it and you will see everything work. Before the installation, clean your computer from all old stuff from 1236 usb and artec.
