Hi, I bought a used copy of Final Fantasy Tactics on eBay and I love it. I've played 11 hours in the past 2 days I just got up to the part where I'm with Agrias and I select the "Lionel Castle" marker on the map and have some Knights open a big gate for me. After they open it and the characters walk through, I get the black screen with the small, flashing "Now loading" text in the bottom right. Normally this only takes a few seconds, but this time it just keeps going. I've waited up to 5 minutes and tried several times. Has this happened to anybody else? Do you think the problem could be a glitch with the game itself, or the disc or the Playstation? I checked the bottom of the disc and there are only very light scratches (I've played much worse looking games before that worked just fine). I tried cleaning it anyway and it still doesn't work. I really really want to keep playing this game, please help!

Nevermind, I left it "loading" for like 10 minutes and it finally worked. I'm so happy!

Anyways, while I have a thread going, what do you guys think is a good secondary skillset for a Ninja? What about a Monk?

That really depends on the job skills you enjoy using.

I personnaly like to play up the stengths of a class with a weakness of another. SO a Ninja with their speed works wonders with a mastered math skill. Also Break skills works well.

A monk works well with break skills.

When in doubt... I often put Geomancey in a secondary slot for ranged attack power, or the old item skill.

i used to have that loading problem with my tactics, i usualy popped the lid on the playstation and closed it, that usualy made it load faster.

I think its a ps problem, not a disk problem.

Yeah, I couldn't tell you for sure, but my copy used to do that a lot too. Every now and then, it just takes a long time to load. :/
