Is it true Ramza can be a Dark Knight? I've tried twice but I coudn't get him... I searched the web and found this:

Dark Knight Ramza
Before the battle where Gafgarion betrays you, strip him of his equipment and turn him into a preist. Then before the battle at Goland Execution Site, put all the equipment on Ramza. After the battle he will be a Dark Knight.

This is all bull. You cannot turn Ramza into a Dark Knight, bring Aerith into your party, or any other such rubbish.

You might be able to make him into a Galgfarion looking character through GameShark or some other modification, but no.

I do reccomend doing what is outlined above simply to make your battle with him easier before he turns on you, but I prefer making him a Time Mage as opposed to Priest.

The Ramza as a Dark Knight trick is not acsessible on the american releases. That was only in Japan. And while it is true that gamesharks could prolly do it, I would not recommend it.

Gamesharks can do it as I messed around with it a bit (yeah I hate gamesharks but I really wanted to play Zalbag lol). You should becareful though as you can have complications like game freezing or your memory card being erased.

Well it was for me as Zalbag is my fav character from the game. Also I was well aware of the GS problems before using it because of my knowledge in gaming so I used a blank memory card and started a new game from that. Even if I lost memory I wouldn't really lose anything. It's when you have other data on it that get's you mad.

Squire for Ramza is not junk. You just need to use his Guts techniques properly. Squire Ramza with Punch Abilities or Draw Out secondary rule.

throw rock versus holy explosion

well Squire is nothing compared to other job classes like Soldier or Holy Swordsman... I figured that each unique character should have his/her own unique jobclass... the only thing different about Ramza's Squire is that he has ultima.. and wish?

This is a quick killing machine.

Ramza's Squire class deserves the title UberSquire. It has better stats than a typical Squire, exclusive abilities--Cheer Up Yell and Scream--and can equip some very good equipment.

Actually, my gameshark turned my Cloud ( RAMZA ) into an unmastered dark knight. Yes this can happen, BUT IT WILL COMPLETELY SHUT OFF IN BATTLE. YOUR GAME WILL GO Burrrr.... So knight is impossible in every way.

I sincerely do NOT reccomend gameshark to ANYBODY.

To use gameshark, you need a separate memory card... And you also need to know how to use it properly...
