I am at the beginning of level 15 the infernal machine.I enter the passage climb down the ladder turn to enter the opening but cannot go through.It is as if the character is too far away. ie he will jump up but not latch onto the ledge.Any ideas would be appreciated

Hi, I was freaking out myself over this. I found somewhere else that you had to reinstall the game by the standard set up, not storing the complete works on your computer. You can opt to leave your saved game files and things on your hard drive though, they still work fine. Then you might also have to replay the previous level, or load in a savegame near the end and just complete that level, so as to restart the Infernal Machine level. Then when you climb down the ladder there should be an elevator floor which wasn't there before, on the same level as that coffin shaped hole. It worked for me! Although it might not necessarily be a standard installation which is needed, I'm not sure of the logic behind it, maybe just completing Nub's Tomb again might be enough... but I tried it and it worked fine. So rest assured that this wasn't your fault after all, it was the game! Hooray! Good luck!

did that help, coz it's not working for me!! driving me nuts! i'm running xp so for some reason the game only works with the full install instead of the standard? is it definately the standard install needed, if so any ideas on why it won't run properly on xp?
