Im not putting down your idea incase you think I am, but just out of curiosity why did you bring in this new charater Lyla? (which is a good name by the way)
There is already a Village of All Beginnings in Tombi1 though, but I think the game should be set in a new continent anyway.

io decided to bring in a new character because in almost every series, there is a new character added to the next game. i think lyla will make the game in some ways funner because this time you meet a whole new character and you willl get to do events with tabi which should be fun! oh and by the way i dont like the village of all begginings idea much myself i do like my frist one.

i need more feedback if you dont like lyla we should scrap it but i would really love to have lyla.. oh and i forgot about signing on so i used a guest thing czu i already wrote so much haha

oh and about the village of all begginings i have never played tomba 1 and i swear i just came up with it but i did think to myself it was from something..

i have some more lyla ideas but im not gonnan waste time saying it all til i know if everyone likes her, i would like to do some sort of concept art for what i think she should look like.

Its hard to tell if we like your character or not as we don't know anything about her yet

im not criticizing your ideas, but lots of people have talked about the idea of adding tomba jr. i myself, think it would ruin the story of tomba, besides, the original tomba story hasnt even ended yet. maybe once tomba defeats the pigs for good, we can make tomba jr =) also i like the idea of tomba not talking, without it, it wouldnt be tomba. the idea of this game in my point of view is so that a company will see it and bring tomba back to life (and of course finish where it left off). if we dramaticly change it we will not have many fans.

ok a little update on layla*

ive thought of a story for lyla to help you all understand who she is.
( btw its not like a HUGE story, i just made key points)

-When tabby was young she had a friend named Layla.
-Layla was forced to move away because of the evil swine ( wel talk about how this happened later)
-Tabby soon moved also and met tomba. they became great friends.
-Tabby is reunited with Layla after bumping into each other in the woods. ( im changing that, LAME! just needed a way for them to meet so you understand better)
-Tabby introduces Layla to Tomba , Zippo and Charles.
-Tomba finds a letter from kanien telling him about the evil swines.
- tomba and his friends go back.
-Layla is captured by the Evil Swine.
-Tomba and his friends set out to save Layla
"And than..."

Layla sounds fine to me but better leave it to samuraikill incase. Finding a pic of Tabby could be hard but I'll try.
As for Tomba Jr., NOOOOOOO!
That is a BAAAAD idea that would annoy a lot of people. The problem is wether its a game, movie or tv show, making a main character have a child will put a HUGE strain on them because they'll have to spend too much time looking after the child and the child would be a target for the characters enemies. Kids just get in the way to be honest.

oh well if samu likes it he can figure it out lol. i wonder how hes doing.. there hasnt been any screenshots for like a year..im trying to get tomba 2 emulated to pc scince i threw out my ps1 and all games including the tomba 2 disk when i moved.. to bad..once i emulate it il try to take a good screen of tabby.

hey finnaly i can emulate! i found my ps1 and tomba disk so i can do this now, i could have done it without, but that would be illegal lol ;0 im going to look through the game.. hacnt played it in so long.. it may trigger some ideas!

Yeah samuraikill is probably still working on all the triggers and what have you. I doubt he has had time to work on graphics yet.

After 1 year samuraikill actually could bring some results like some more screenshots or something like that..
