Um, so I got up on day 1 of Fall and my dog was stuck in my house wall. I didn't put him there, and he can't get out and I can't get him out myself. I've tried whistling and throwing the ball, as well as playing a day out and then going to sleep. The next morning... still in the wall. I played like 5 days before that and didn't want to redo them, so I saved with the dog stuck in the wall and I have no backup file.

Am I just hosed?

You can't do anything about it then. If you've tried everything to get the dog out and nothing's worked, then I don't think you'll be getting it out ever.

Although, you could try triggering an event of some sort and seeing what happens. Who knows?

Okay, so what will happen if I just keep playing with my dog perpetually stuck in the wall? He'll probably be taken away right? How much will that damage my potential of being accepted at the end of year three, because honestly, I don't want to start over again, and I'm willing to sacrifice the dog, as heartless as that sounds.

I can't really say for sure, as I haven't been in that position, but I guess it will hurt your chances a fair bit. Not too much, but enough to make not being accepted possible.

You should have a back up save file of this same one in case you don't get accepted. So if it turns out you don't get accepted, you can just give up the dog on the back up save.

try to sleep until 1 day before dog festival and zack come to your house,he asked you to join dog festifal and you say yes.and your dog is auto get out from the wall,you can get your dog again after dog festifal.

haha the dog wont be taken away from you xD if the dog became "heartless" it wont respond to your whistles immediately... wait until 10th of winter.. zack will take your dog to the dog festival and see what will happen.. and dont assume to win the contest xD what year are you on anyway?
