Unleash devastating fury attacks, new melee and aerial combo attacks or use one of Spyro's many new breath abilities to defeat foes. Feel the power of the purple dragon as players have the control to upgrade Spyro's breath attacks and moves to their liking. It's a new beginning with a storyline that will serve as a prequel to all of the existing Spyro titles, the narrative will explore Spyro's origin for the 1st time and the game includes AAA voice talent from Elijah Wood, David Spade and Gary Oldman."


...no lie, sounds fake because of the high-class actors but nope, it is totally legit! I can't believe it either! What do you think it is about?

Whilst the VUGames website only has a page for a PlayStation 2 version, according to the game's ESRB entry the game will appear on GameCube, PlayStation 2 and the Xbox. Incidently the game is rated 'Everyone 10+ (Cartoon Violence)'.


What could Spyro's parents have been doing all these years? We will most likely see the origins of Sparx. ... If we know his origins then we'll know so much about him we always wondered about!

Looks good. I hope it isn't going to be like Spyro Fusion/Orange.

I'm sure it won't be like that. Spyro Orange/Fusion was a GameBoy game, therefore it was short, boring, and generally pointless. And they had to make it different because it was supposed to be in Crash's world.

I am quite excited, as I actually like the material that Krome studios have released before. Ty the Tasmanian tiger was brilliant, and I cant wait for their take on of Spyro. Sierra and Vivendi Universal really didnt understand Spyro well enough from the previous games to produce good games. (AHT was 100 times better than ETD though)

I got and played this game while I was waiting for it, and I have to say the following about it:

Yeah, the game itself was pretty damn good. I liked the variety of attacks, powering up all of the attacks throughout the game, and how the levels and everything were set up. The game itself is plenty fun, yes, but I have one HUGE complaint.

The game took me 8 hours to complete. An 8 hour game for $30 is unacceptable.

The game was WAAAAY too short to warrant the price tag they put on it, far too short for any PS2 game. If you want to play it, I'd say rent it, unless you're a hardcore Spyro fan and need to have all of the games, it's not worth the buy simply because it's such a short game.
