Once you leave Mythril Cave, that's the first time you can get her. From here, you can visit any forest area from then on to get her. If you mess up on the questions you can try again as many times as you like.
As a side note...every question you answer right with her raises her opinion of you in relevance to the Date Night at Gold Saucer, but if you get the questions wrong, her opinion stays the same. ------------------- | |

When is the next chance you get to go back to the Junon forest area (which I think is the only place you can get Yuffie, correct me if im wrong) after you cross on the Junon boat? I'm annoyed because I forgot that you leave straight away and can't get a boat back and Yuffies my favourite character

I thought you could head back at any time after arriving in Costa Del Sol (just go back the way you came). If that doesn't work, then you need to get the buggy first.

You come on a boat, and after you get off the boat (automatically) you can't get back on it again because it says something about the Shinra not allowing you, its closed off or something. Ok, i'm waiting for the buggy now damn you Yuffie -_-'

 As far as I know, you can encounter Yuffie in any forest on the world map. I've come across her near Mideel, Junon and Wutai, so you definitely don't have to go back to Junon to get her. ------------------- | |

I have noticed that if you aren't specifically looking for her, the forest she appears in MOST OFTEN is the one near Cosmo Canyon.
