I'm sure he did. I did also, and I'm not sure what point you were trying to make (which is why I didn't respond to your comment earlier). Are you concluding that Aerith's appearance during the credits means that he loves her? I'm not sure that makes any sense.

Yes fanfiction. Stating Cloud was going to the flower field where Aerith was is ridiculous fanfic BS. So much so that SE changed the credits for ACC.

Methinks they changed the ending to fit Safe and Sound. But that's what I'm thinking. No need to go GRRR.

They actually didn't change the ending for the NA version. In any event, I didn't see it as Cloud going to where Aerith was. Rather, Cloud was just driving (through Hawaii apparantly ) and Aerith was there watching over him.

And yes it does piss me off just a little bit when people make crap like that up and tell everyone it is what really happened.

As for the credits. They changed them for ACC. Now outside of Japan the song is still 'calling' not 'Safe & Sound'. But what is actually shown is different.

I have to agree. I'm not exactly sure how you can come to that conclusion by watching the credits. Like I said before, the way I saw it was that Cloud is riding Fenrir and Aerith is there watching over him. If he was going to see Aerith I imagine he would have stopped, but he kept driving. It seemed to me that he didn't even notice her there.

I'd have to watch it again to remind myself. And just for kicks, watch the ACC credits to see the difference. I'm not a big credit-watcher so I guess I never noticed it was different. Oops. I watched the ACC credits to hear Safe & Sound, noticed it was still Calling, got upset, and turned it off. Even though I've seen the movie about 20 times (yeah I'm crazy), I never sat through the credits.

So I watched ACC again, and watched Calling at the end. They did take Aerith out...that's kind of sad. I wonder why they did that.

Also to those Cleriths, (Fire Fox I believe) can I ask something? Could you provide me with one single quote that stated that Cloud wanted to meet Aerith in AC/C out of love?.. cause I sure can't seem to find one.
