Sapphire WEAPON - Got it's head blown off by the Junon Cannon.

Ultimate WEAPON - The one that you must continuosly fight while it flies around the world.

Diamond WEAPON - The one that attacks Midgar.

Ruby WEAPON - The red one that you fight in the Corel Desert.

Emerald WEAPON - The green one that you fight underwater.

but when the crater explodes and the weapons come out there are only 4, one each going a different direction

I don't remember that cutscene too well. But I don't think Diamond WEAPON came out of the crater when it exploded.

There was Sapphier, which appeared first.
Ultimate, which appeared second, then flew off.
Then Ruby and Emerald, who both flew off in different directions.

So Diamond must have already been somewhere underwater at that time.

no the Diamond weapon climbed out first then he hid underwater near the shore of Bone Village. If u see that cut-scene again you'll find that the Diamond Weapon was first i'm sure of it

No you can't.

The one you fight underwater is Emerald Weapon, which looks entirely differnt. I don't see how you could possibly mistake the two.

But isnt Emerald weapon the one outside of Midgar

Hmmm ... well I know they show Sapphire WEAPON flying to the surface first. Then it shows Diamond WEAPON crawling out next.

Maybe Sapphire didn't actually get out firt ;/

The Weapons might just be my favorite part of the game honestly and as much as i would have liked to see more, it wouldnt have been as special if there were like 10 of them...in my opinion that is


I would have like to fight sapphire but if it was weak enough to get killed that easily then it wouldn't have been much of a fight anyway so i guess im ok with it

with Weapon there are 5 if u include the Ultima
