Alright here goes, I made a roleplay of this about four months ago on another board, and after finding this place and it's need of a 'roleplay', I thought I'd try it here.

13 People shall enter the house of Jonathon Jacobs, an unusual, sadistic, but most importantly, rich, very rich man. However Jacobs is inviting thirteen people, thirteen of his friends, who have nothing going for them and the person/people who remain at the end shall inherit everything he owns. But surviving is the tricky part. One of the thirteen is a serial killer, and is looking to kill the other twelve before they discover who he is. Entrants will "roleplay" (although not exactly a 300 word roleplay, just a post going on about what you're doing, which other people can continue on etc.) and answer a quiz about the killer. If the killer picks the person who done best on the quiz, they'll fend him (or her) off and kill him with the weapon they bring into the house with them, and then he or she and the other remaining house mates shall split the prize amongst themselves.

Quiz answers shall be done through PM. I put a fair amount of effort into this back in October, and it was very successful. Do I have the green light?

Will we Roleplay, because I dont really like the Idea of us Roleplaying. I rather you writing what happens during the Day/Night, kind of like the Mafia Games.

It sounds like an interesting idea. Some things may need tweaking so the game isn't to short (e.g. how about when scoring high enough, if the killer attacks you, instead of finding out who it is straight away you just receive a clue about who it may be) but I'm intrigued.

In other news, in light of my previous attempts at making an interactive role play simply failing, miserably, I'm going to give up on trying to come up with something new and instead steal from another forum!

As ZTR has bought up (I'm pretty sure it was ZTR) in the Dynasty Warriors 6 forum is a series of cluedo-like murder mystery games, the last of which was The Wu Cruise Ship Killer and the next to start being The Ye Castle Murderer.
It's kind of like the mafia games but without the factions. For more info on how the games are played see one of the examples.
The original makers have given permission to steal the game so if enough people are interested I'd be happy to host one here, maybe with a family guy theme or something.

how smart would you have to be to get a good score on the quizzes just so i should know

It's not general knowledge, it's stuff like 'What age is the killer? 20-30, 30+' and then as your score increases, it makes youn realize more details about the killer.

I'll use an example most of you would understand.

If the killer was Bri, and we took a quiz. Tiger of Wu got 2 points on the quiz, the lowest score. His weapon his stripped of him for the night, and Bri's been alerted of this. However Shape has been throwing alot of info forward recently, and he got it. He'd put Bri in danger by guessing something. Bri could go after Shape, and kill him off meaning pressure was off. With Shape gone he could go on to win the game with nobody else prepared to stop him. But Shape scored 6 points. The highest. Bri lures in for the kill but Shape dodges his shot, and jams his keyboard into Bri's gut. He knocks Bri out and brings him to others. Bri loses.

He took the risk, and it failed.

You will issue me no such ultimatum, what's the problem with having more than one RP running in this forum at once? I know that'd be brand new territory for you but still...

I'm busy right now and I'm a perfectionist, I'll be able to run it by myself and will probably get things going at half term.
