Is there any way to increase the fps on your screen W/O crashing your comp?

Go to your vid card options, look for "vsync" or "Vertical Sync" and turn it off. Then go into your game, open the console and type in
fps_max 100 and hit enter. type cl_showfps 1 to see your framerate. hope this helps. | |
