Forum Rules -- Ban/Warning List

[Rules for the Counter-strike Forum]

[1] No Spamming

Spamming is one of the rules which has been broken the most. It is usually when members start posting useless messages that certainly do not contribute to the discussion going on in the forum. Spam is usually the flooding of threads, off-topic messages and spam posts are normally very short. Most members spam in the ambition of having a higher post count, while others do it for fun, but remember it is only going to earn you a ban.

[2] No Flaming

Flaming is when you use inappropriate language to insult another member. Like most of you know, flaming isn't accepted in the peaceful community of Neoseeker, we don't want fights here; we want clean and friendly discussions which do not hurt the feelings of the Neoseeker members.

[3] No Memberating

The act of Memberating is when usual members think they have the rights and the power to act up as the Moderator. This is usually giving instructions to other members, e.g. Follow the rules, don't spam, Flaming is not tolerated etc. You are not the Moderator which therefore means you cannot act like one. I am quite sure that if the forum moderator needs more help, he/she can appoint a co-mod instead of receiving help from the usual participants of the forum. However, providing links to a new member is not considered as an act of memberating.

[4] Do Not Advertise

Most of the people here would be aware of what advertising is, and now you should be aware it is against the rules of Neoseeker. Neoseeker isn't your personal webpage in which you can advertise. Nearly all the advertisements are off-topic and will not be tolerated on Neoseeker. However, advertising in your NeoHome, profile, signature etc is allowed.

THIS RULE INCLUDES ADVERTISING FOR CLANS THAT ARE NOT NEOSEEKER BASED CLANS. IF YOU COME HERE AND POST ONE POST WITH A CLAN AD IN IT, IT WILL BE DELETED.

[5] Bypassing Bans

Bypassing bans is considered as a serious offense in the rules and policies of Neoseeker. If you are found bypassing a ban, you won't only get into trouble with the Forum Moderator, but the Administration and the Super Mods are likely to block you Internet Service Provider.

[6] Language

There are always limits with using offensive content in language. Remember, Neoseeker is aimed for young people, so the use of inappropriate language may not be a good idea.

Please do not forget to have a look at the Forum Wide Rules, these rules must be accepted by every member If he/she wants to stay out of trouble. Thanks for reading the rules all the way through, I hope everyone has a wonderful time here at the Counter-strike forum!
