We fixed the bug in Dod mod by adding sv_lan server "0" in listenserver cfg file, but don't see that file in our half life (steam/steam aps/email/HL/valve? folders what to do? re-install? is update to 1.6 manual or does it make a diff? hope this was enough 4 whoever who knows to go on that could tell us what/how to resolve issue

Type lan 0 in console. It should work. Or ask around at http://www.steampowered.com for help.

Ok look, to make it simple.. there is no fix for that LAN problem.

LAN is 'Local Area Network' thus, you can't bring outside connections in.. no matter what.

If you want to play with a friend, go into an empty server.. or run a dedicated.
