God I just got back into counter-strike! When the game came out I was playing it 18 hours a day. I eventually was excepted into a Clan (forgot which one, it had some funny characters and then an M and more funny characters) and after 2 months of being a grunt in the clan I was promoted to a SGT. Once I was showing more potenial I became a recruiter. Recruiting was fun, but not many people came in because in the course of 1 month 3 people got into the clan. The President decided that I would be promoted to a LT, and that was where I stayed for a month or so. The Colonel of the clan saw that being a LT wasn't exactly working for me. Well, I guess that was true, I'm not into being a front line soldier, just running and shooting. I prefer specialty postions. He bounced me around being a grenaider, Gunner, but it wasn't until 2 weeks that I decided that I should be a Sniper. I didn't think I could be a great Sniper, but I tried my best. Well, that turned out to be my new position. After 1 months work in being a Sniper I was promoted to an Elite Sniper. A clan war was approaching (forgot who we fought, something like TIO or TYO, or like EYO, ARGH!!!!!!) and the President picked a strike team of 6 guys, to back our 7 grunts, 2 sgts, and 1 lt. 16 v 16. The stike team consisted of 3 elite snipers, a grenaider, a gunner, and a scout. It was a simple yet effective strategy that we had, the snipers would be on the balconies, the gunner would be taking cover behind a crate, the scout would be in a shadowed spot, radioing when someone approached, and the grenaider would throw a smoke bomb when the scout radioed, making that the signal for the gunner to get his machine gun out. A group of five guys rushed into the intersection, but couldn't see well because of the smoke, the gunner just started gattling away and we went for easy headshots. I guess you could say that orginization sure helps in clan wars

I'm Gouki and I've been playing CS for a while now but I got Steam 1.6 since last week and it's great! Although they're still a few glitches but you barely notice that. I hope I can learn some more tips.

I usually come and go from this forum so I''l introduce myself again, as you can see I'm deathguardian666 and I usallly play cs_1337_assault or de_dust or de_dust2 maps mostly, I don't stay on one server for very long so If you don find me it's a rarity, and my alaises on CS are as follows.
