Hey, I'm Dion, I just got Counter-Strike today, so I'm a n00b. I'm slowly learning and right now it's not much fun, but I'm sure when I get better it'll be alot of fun just like everybody says it is.
What's the best weapon to buy? ------------------- gone.

mp5 is good to practice with if you're newb. ak's good to practice headshots and 2 - 3 shot bursts with. then when you get 1337 with those, you can use just about any gun. just don't show off your newbness with an awp, i suggest using a scout to practice sniping.

An awp can be a good weapon to but it is a bit of expensive if compared to the other weapons . But one thing is it can kill in one shot.

of course it's a good weapon, but to get really good at sniping you should practice with the scout. if you're a newb who can't shoot, the awp does no good anyway and is a waste of money. trust me, start with the scout.
