In case anyone was wondering I am now back and will be on full-time duty once again starting tomorrow. I'm happy to be back.

I can't remember if at some point I mentioned I was going to be in New York from Thursday-now, but I was and have returned and will no longer be leaving this forum unless something bad happens for what appears to be a very long time.

How do you get a thread on a forum...another forum.... either moved to another forum..the proper forum or have it deleted.I need a moderator's advice on this as there is one I want this done to...

You should PM that forum's respective moderator to move the thread, and see what they think about it. If the forum does not have a moderator, PM the section mod about it.

It's the FFXIII board..it has a FFVII thread on it. I think would be more appropriate for the FFVII board..plus some of the fans there have gotten on my nerves...smiles...
It doesn't seem to have a resident moderator..who would be the section head and how would you find that out...?

I think Gothic Girl, who is the newly appointed Section mod there, already moved that thread.

Edit; Correction: She has put in a subtitle saying that she will soon move it to VII, so no worries, she is already on it.

I don't mind if FFVII fans want a remake of the game but they should be campaigning for it on the FFVII board and not the FFXIII board...

Sometimes newer members can confuse forums, or visit only one particular forum, and think it's okay to post up anything FF related in any FF forum.


It's not a big deal though, so I wouldn't worry too much.

Well, you can't sign up, you're chosen by supermoderators.

But anyway, I'd like to get back to forum issues. Any questions about moderating and etc. should be asked in the thread I linked you to. ^^

Hi everyone, if you're interested, I'm running an RP if you'd like to join.

I just want to say I don't think my thread should have gotten closed. I can understand the desire to control a forum. But what Jessica Lee wants in a game is a different discussion from discussing the difference between Revnant Wings and FF Tactics which are pretty different from the games she likes (FFXII).

oh well... doesn't really matter... but I have noticed for awhile that threads are getting closed way too quickly here. And it's not as if there are a flood of threads here that are causing chaos. And to be honest, if you keep closing threads like this, people will go elsewhere.

If you've done you research on the threads that have been getting closed, 75% of them have been along the lines of "what game should I get next" or "should I buy Game A or Game B".


If you also had read my first two statements when closing those threads, you would have seen that I just prefer all threads of a similar nature to be directed towards one thread. You mention that there hasn't been a flood of threads, but if I had allowed every recommendation thread that was made to stay, we would have 6 "what game should I get next" type threads in probably the first page alone.


Please do a little research next time before questioning my motives, or at least have a little more support to back up your claim.

Example 1, Example 2, Example 3, Example 4, and Example 5 are all related to the same topic: "What should I buy next?"


And that was on only the first three pages. Don't be ridiculous.
