quoteFinal Fantasy VII: Crisis Core will make you cry From the interview: The Potion Concept is "Sephiroth Flavor" Supposedly it's more delicious than the last one. "We ordered a fresh citrus flavor. Soon after we announced a second edition we wanted a completely different flavor, and I was really surprised by the result." (Nomura) "The greatest secret of the DMW will be revealed in the last battle" (Nomura) "We'll know the true meaning of the DMW's existence". "We feel that the DMW as a system that is connected to deep emotions has an element of sadness to it. Regarding the beta testers, we were were told that they: "Cried during the test play." (Tabata) "However, the ending isn't necessarily gloomy. There is significance in Zack's life and existence, in the end you feel that there is a hope that is passed on into the time of FF7" I feel that CC was loaded with the message of "Make a remake, Nomura-san and Kitase-san." (Tabata) "The Ending is absolutely worth seeing". screenshots and info I wasn't really a fan of the battle system. I originally thought it sounded strange. But now I'm really looking forward to it. I'm interested in seeing how the battle system's secret will be revealed during the final battle, as well as it being "connected to deep emotions has an element of sadness to it". Intriguing! Mmmm Sephiroth flavoured potion.

I can't say I'm very happy with Shisune's translated name being "Cissnei"
But I'm liking the look of the Battle-System. It's looking very KH-esque, which is okay with me. It's great to see that the good ol' colored Materia is back again ^^ *nostalgic*

quoteFinal Fantasy VII 10th Anniversary Gallery From 31st August to 2nd September, Square-Enix will be hosting the "Final Fantasy VII 10th Anniversary Gallery" event at Spiral Garden in Minamiaoyama, Tokyo, to commemorate the game. The exhibit will be open from 11am to 8pm, and admittance is free. On 30th August, prior to the exhibit opening, they held a reception party for the press, detailing the exhibit. In addition to the original FFVII it also features some materials from the world-wide smash hit "Advent Children" and other titles in the "Compilation of FFVII" series. - Ayaka preforms "Why", the theme song for Crisis Core - Final Fantasy VII - Towards the end of the party, music began to play in the auditorium as smoke covered the stage. Several mintues after the attendee's attention turned to the stage, Ayaka walks out and preforms the theme song for Crisis Core, "Why". This is followed up by a simple interview, in which she states that this song was one she created when she was 16, and at the time she finished it didn't have a very deep impression of the track. But now after seeing it together with images from Crisis Core she was impressed by how well they fitted together. She went on say that while she normally doesns't play video games very much, she did know about FFVII through some video, and admired how the video and music matched so well. And when she was selected to sing the theme song, she was happy that it was going to be her music going with the videos this time. Incidently, Ayaka was born on 18th December 1987, the release date of the very first Final Fantasy. Perhaps this was fate? Images of Ayaka's performance- Potion - At they party they also served special cocktails made using the FFVII Potions. There were two varieties for the attendees to try: passion fruit flavoured "One-Winged Angel" and a green apple "Lifestream" cocktail. source Gamegrep article Discuss it here
OMG! Is that a life-sized Buster Sword I see? I wold LOVE to own those posters! I think I peed my pants when I saw the FFVII versions of the characters in AC-style graphics. <3 The potions look pretty spiffy too. I'd buy them just for the pictures on the cans! Regarding the last image ... "the best is yet to come"?! FFVII Remake, anyone? ... Aaaand maybe Squeenix made those character models for a reason? (*cough* remake *cough*)

Crisis Core has been reviewed by Famitsu ... quoteFinal Fantasy VII: Crisis Core has finally been reviewed by the most highly respected gaming magazine in Japan: Famitsu - a gaming magazine known for it's extremely harsh scoring and tough ratings system. And it's good news for any Final Fantasy fans who were worried about this latest installment in the FFVII Compilation series - The game has been given a 8.75 out of ten! There is also a quote, from Kitase himself, saying that a Final Fantasy VII remake will be made "when the time is right". Confirmation, much? From the article:- Crisis Core is "being strong, there is a new game +", and each reviewer's scores were: " 9, 9, 8 and 9 ". - There is new game + with strong lvl - You can't skip the demo - The battle and the enemy encounter r well balanced - There is a tough enemy even if u r lvl is max - The normal enemy is simple - For now, until the timing is right, there is no remake - And there seems to be a minor bug during the test play GAMEGREP article

Angeal: Zack! Angeal: Zack, concentrate. Angeal: These are not Shinra troops on this train. Understand?
Zack: (After being shot at) So complicated
Zack: (Jokingly to his opponent) Greetings!
Zack: (As he separates the cars) SOLDIER Second Class Zack on duty! Gawd, that's enough to make me pee my pants all over again! The music = epic.

As many Final Fantasy fans would know, the rumours surrounding the possible Final Fantasy VII remake have almost gotten to the point of being ridiculous. Despite having the third largest booth at TGS, Square Enix have also announced that they will be using a Closed Theater during the game show. It looks like fans won't be seeing any new trailers for Final Fantasy XIII, The Last Remnant, (or other major titles) in the next few weeks.
