GameTrailers have recently uploaded a run-through preview for Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core. The video explains the Mission system, Materia, Gameplay, and how the DMW Battle System works.
We also get glimpses of the soundtrack (including music very similar to the original Final Fantasy VII), as well as a sneak-peak at the game's stoaryline and characters (who, as we all know, also appear in the original FFVII).

The many "TBA" Final Fantasy games - We want more info, Square!

EGM have dedicated a page of this month's issue to the fairly large array of Final Fantasy games that have recently (and not-so-recently) been announced, yet haven't had much information divulged since then. The magazine tried their best to piece together what little info has been released.

It's a shame that one-and-a-half years have passed since Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy Versus XIII were announced, and yet fans still don't know much about the game's details, let alone the characters that will appear.

And despite Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core being released in Japan last September, there is still no news on an English release. No release date, no voice cast, no box art, nothing.

Okay, fans can look past the fact that Final Fantasy: Dissidia and the various Kingdom Hearts spin-offs were only just announced, but I'm sure it won't be long until fans are practically begging for any info on the games.

What ever happened to the days when Square would release information (no matter how small the tidbit) left, right and center?
Square, if you're going to announce a game, then don't forget about it for a year, and leave the fans hanging.
