Rune: well obviously magic isnt going to harm it, Merlin, leave this battle to us (readies sword)
Jhonen: there are things u can do to help though Merlin.
Merlin: RIGHT, (casts Beserker on his two allys)

Rune: Ready J?
Jhonen: as i'll ever be,
Rune: Merlin, stand by with healing, just in case.

The two charge the enemy.

As Rune and Jhonen charged at the bear ready to attack. They were attacking franticly at the bear however it was having little effect. As they were fighting the 20 feet bear Merlin could only watch as they struggled against the beast. Then he remembered something, he could transform into a werewolf. Merlin slowly eveloved into the werewolf and let out a ear piercing howl. Jhonen was in trouble as the bear had picked him up and was abouts to eat him whole but in the nick of time the werewolf jumped up and swiped at the hand holding Jhonen causing the beast to let go of him and fall to the ground. The beast was in pain and in a frenzy a huge paw swung round hitting both rune and merlin causing them to fly into the wall. Just as all hope was abouts to fail...(who knows whats gonna happen next )

An arrow strikes the bear, right in between the eyes, killing it instantaniously...

Rune: Woah. J, was that you?
???: No, it was I who saved you.

The trio look up to see a beautiful amezon staring down at them from the entrance to the cave...


Amezon: I saw the way you three fight, very impressive... so i have a request of you,

Merlin: What M'Lady?

Amezon: Come with me to my town, we have a rather problem, and i was sent out to look for Warriors to aid us...

Jhonen: Well, we are actually quite busy now with a quest of our own so if we cou...(cut off)

Rune: ANYTHING, For You M'lady.



As they walk to her town...

Jhonen: You do know that we are on our own quest, remember, the Dark Dragon???
Rune: Yes, but rule #1 in the hero book, always help a damsel in distress.
Jhonen: BUT WE ARE BUSY

Rune: *Mumbles* You must be Gay
Jhonen: What was that?!?
Rune: Nothing...
Merlin laughs at the two of them, as they leave the forest and enter town...

Ok, this can go 3 ways, whoever posts next can decide...

A) Trap master has captured the sacred animal of the town, and the heros must retrieve him, and get him out of the trap (2nd quest, after mirror)

B) Witch has turned all the other maidens to stone... (first quest of the game)

C) Vampires have taken over the city, and rule it at night...

(ill go with c- vampires rule the city at night)

As they aproached the Amazon war leader looked up and gave a cold stare at the three mercenaries.

????: have you come to cleanse our village of the evil that plagues our town at night.
Rune: yes we got a message from one of your amazon warriors that you needed help.
????: (her expression softened slightly) My name is Bertha. It started a few days ago when a strange figure supposedly walked through our village at night...you could almost feel his presence as if he was surrounded by an aura of darkness. He asked for the location of the sun sigil which is a mystic item which has been guarded by our people for generations. As he looked up i saw fangs in his mouth but we did not say anything because i felt as if i was under a spell and i knew somehow he knew the location which has been hidden for decades.
Merlin: Where is the location of this sun sigil you speak of m'lady.
Bertha: (she searched our eyes to make sure we were allies) She said hesitantly.....erm...well...it is a days walk north in the misty mountains. I will be your guide along with 5 of my personal guard.
Jhonen: Well we were heading north so we might as well help out as long as it doesnt last to long.
Rune: I know where im going to live if we make it back (looking at all the women smiling )
Bertha: we cant allow the figure to get it because it will give him the power to walk in day as well as night and we cant fight vampires both during day and night.

They then ventured north into the misty mountains to save the sun sigil from the mysterious figure.

Bertha Gathered up 5 of her most trusted handmaidens, and showed the 3 to the Northern Exit of town.

Bertha: Don't worry about the townsfolk, there are Amezons watching, incase the Vamps decide to attack, and raid the village.
Jhonen: So tell us, what do you know of these creatures
Bertha: well, th... (inturupted by Rune)
Rune: They can be killed by a wooden object through the heart, cutting of head thus damaging the central nervous system, fire always works well too, and i believe Holy Water burns them, along with Sunlight.
Merlin: and i suppose you will tell me that garlic draws them away, correct?
Rune: oh yeah, forgot about that one (slaps himself in head)
Merlin: haha, child...

Rune: You say something old man
Merlin: thats what the hunters want you to believe, that those items will help you, against these creatures of the night...
Rune: My old man happened to be a hunter, and i watched him slay these beasts, using those techniques...
Bertha: Rune is right, for the most part...
Merlin: well, a simple ray of injury would suffice on my part,
Jhonen: or a magic missile...

Merlin: Tell us more about this Sun Segil Bertha...

Bertha explained...

"The sun sigil had the power to bring eternal light, or eternal darkness, depending on which the possessor wanted, we cannot allow the vampires to get their hands on it, for they will then block out the sun, and terrorize the vilage during all hours..."

As they aproached the cave there lurked 3 shadows in the distance. As they got closer one of them looked up and said you come any closer i will drink awy your life force. They all froze and one of the amazons threw a spear from instinct. It was easily avoided.

Merlin:These are vampires with supernatural speed and power so be on your guard.
Rune:im not listening to your lectures again. (charges)

Middle Shadow:you fool do you realy think you can take me

then with a glow of his hand Rune turned to stone. However Merlin quickly dispeled this and Rune fell backwards now aware of the power of these creatures.

Merlin:we must use a diffferent method of attack

Rune: Merlin!
Merlin: What?
Rune: Hit Those Bloody things with everything you got.
Merlin: Alright
(and with that he begins chanting an incantation)

The Shadows clench their "ears" or somehting that looked like a head.

Jhonen: its Working, Keep it up Merlin.
Rune: It seems to be driving them back

the shadows went further back into the cavern. no doubt to return in greater numbers.

Jhonen: What Spell did you use merlin?
Merlin: A holy barrier, i created it around them as opposed to around us, i figured it would have greater affect.
Rune: Good Thinking, Lets carry on after them now.
Jhonen: Wait a minute...

Merlin + Rune: what now!
Jhonen: ive stood in something
Rune: wipe it off later we have to go after them

Inside the cave it was very dark so Merlin casts light creating an aura of light so they could see.

Merlin: be on your gaurd, there are worse things than vampires in the deep places of the earth

Merlin - we must find a way out as there is no way we can defeat it yet.
Rune - have you thought of a way out yet.

The three walk backwards slowly as the dragon edges closer towards them.

Merlin - I havn't thought that far ahead
Jhonen - your useless
Rune - SHUT UP both of you. Can you concentrate on the matter at hand.
Merlin + Jhonen - he started it.

They then hit a solid wall as they back peddled from the dragon.

Merlin - quick look for a loose panel. There has to be a secret entrance.

Rune- probably not the best bet, LOOK


with that the dragon breathed fireballs towards them,

Jhonen: MERLIN!!!!
Merlin then casted a protective barrier around them

Rune: how long do you figure this can last?
Jhonen: lets hope merlin's power holds out long enough to tire our that dragon,

Rune: Yeah
Merlin: in the meantime, both of you look for that panel for some sort of passageway outa here...
