i think that getting all the stars was sooooo not worth it, i was hoping for a cool new level where you ride on yoshi, but he gives you 100 lives, and you cant even keep them. What do you think about it?

It's even worse in the DS remake. You don't even meet Yoshi (since he's already playable), which also means you don't get the hundred lives or the special triple jump.

I think that you should be able to meet Yoshi before you get the 120 stars. Because the 100 lives and special triple jump could help on harder levels.

In the original when you got aall 120 stars you were able to shoot to the roof and meet Yoshi. he would give you 99 lives and the ability to do a special triple jump. While peerforming a triple jump mario will do a spining flip (sorta like in super mario 3 when you had the star) and be covered in sparkles. While landing from a triple jump you didnt take fall damage, couldnt be damaged by enemies, and if gave you a split second window to get off spikes/lava/ect before it damaged you.

Wow. I never knew the special triple jump was like that since I never managed to get all 120 stars.

Actually,with GS,you can get 120 stars,but with a secret star,you get 121. And you can get on the castle before getting the cannon. It just needs practice.  Mudkipz Master------------------- Do you know about the word...?
