	No. Nintendo just wanted to add some more challenges in the game: -New characters -More stars -Learn switching through characters -New bosses Nintendo just wanted people to focus on the DS version and not in the 64 version. That's all.

	Since the graphic in comparison is similar between the ds and n64, mario 64 was a top seller. So why not make it for the ds. -------------------
