When you defeat Sigma at the end of X5, he manages to get a deathblow in at the last second, tha penetrats both X and Zero. they both die. but then, you can see megamans broken parts sitting in the middle of a junkyard, when a blue light appears and brings him back to life! WHO WAS THAT LIGHT?????

It's Dr. Light, in the same form you see him in whenever you reach one of his capsules, whatever the $*&(%^ that is. He's the only one who can repair X, since X is a mystery to everyone else.

It should be Dr. Light. Notice the color of the Dr. Light in the Armor Capsules and you'll see. Also, if you really paid attention to it, you'll notice that the music is the same as the one when either X or Zero meets Dr Light in the weapon capsules.

Dr Light doesn't want X to die, since he is the only hope to save the human existance from sigma virus!(i mean his work iz not end)

ok I havn't betten the game yet (thaks for the ending ), but it might even be X's spirit! it came back and brought itself back to life! one question, who the hell brought zero back in X6!?!?!?!? he had half his body and a huge frekin @$$ hole in his chest!!! how can he still be alive? I know light says he was still needed so he is still alive but that does not aswer my question. I want to know how the hell Zero can repair himself when he is that damaged and how he even woke up for that matter!

It is Dr. Light becuase it is the same music, he says "forget the painful memories,"and I think Dr. Light isn't dead at all, he has somehow found a way to preserve himself in a virtual world and create armors and bring them to the real one. How that for a freaky theory?

Zero repaired himself in some way. Hmmmmmm....... I did read that Zero repaired himself but HOW???!!!

Zero claimed he tried repairing himself... not that he had actually succeded... As for who repaired X, it's obviously Dr Light... as of "how" he did it... my guess is that he implanted his memory and knowledge into a module which was found by a reploid who decided to help in the shadows or he placed it into a robot which allowed him to repair X (and make armors for him). And as for who repaired Zero, It could be Dr Light who'd have tried fixing him using X's blueprints, or... (pure speculation here), it might very well be Isoc (which I suspect to be Dr Wily's conciousness placed into a robot) or simply a robot with Wily's mind in him (who would be the same who whispered to Zero "You're the strongest" near the end of X6, just after you find the empty shell of Isoc... Or it could also be Forte himself, who managed to survive all this time... (Forte do have a heart and a sense of justice, just like Mega had... it,s just ^pretty damn twisted... )

Another theory is that Dr Light know very well "who" is Zero... but doesn't want to tell... (hell... would you really want to tell Zero that he was in fact built by the greatest mad scientist that ever existed)

The last theory would be that it is in fact Dr Light who had started to build Zero (and his name would be derivated from his serial number: 000) but that Wily had Forte steal the uncomplete Zero, and finished him himself (Forte steal stuff from Light's lab in MM7 (upgrades meant for Megaman and other stuff) so it is a possibility)

Well, I read in the X6 script that Zero had repaired himself. Or maybe it was Dr. Wily.
