For anyone interested, I finally found someone who wrote a walkthrough for this part of the game. I found it at www.gamefaqs.com. It was a long search, believe me. Ok, i think something must be wrong with my game, because on the first level i start off and my partner doesnt even move, then after i get scanned i go to the security desk and the freaking gaurd says that i have to go back around the corner to get checked...Then i'm unable to do anything. I cant talk to the scientist that scans me...i cant move my partner. She just sits there and nothing happens! Either my game is *bleep*ed up or I should never play another video game ever again because i'm *bleep*ing *bleep*ed...please!!!!!!! help me!

i suck at this game but i love playing it do you have any good tips for me to use to get better

hey "freaken a" settle down, YOU control BOTH charecters, all you need to do to switch back and fourth, is hit the select button, i hade the same problem at first as well, until i tryed every single button, now you must likely have figured that out bu now, but if you haven't well, there you go

although in the PS2 half life manual it clearly says for decay: "The character you are not controlling will be controlled by computer AI"

I knew you had to use select but I thought something was wrong because she didn't move with me.

never knew half life for the ps2 had a extra mode or co op. maybe ill rebuy it for this.(i got the PC ver.)

Decay is insanely hard, I have tried it with my friend, who has completed Half Life 1 & 2, and we couldn't get past the 4^th level.
