I am trying for an "S" rating on mission 18.
No problem with those nasty fighters, the Ace,or those dark tunnels, but for the life of me I can't seem to find how to take out the missile silos that are suppose to show after going thru the 3 tunnels.
Where are those doggone things, how do you find them,and how do you take 'em out????
I've read a few walk throughs, but no joy!
Any help out there?????

Well, its really rather simple. You know the " T " that Megalith makes? If you know what I mean, lets call the top, horizontal, line of it the "Top Line" and the vertical line, the "V Line". (You fly into the tunnels at the base of the V Line.) Anyways, once you destroy the three generators, DO NOT fly into the last tunnel that takes you to the mega missile that ends the game. Do not worry about that one - it will not launch until you are in the tunnel.

Once you have destroyed the 3 generators, fly over the top of the Top Line. The turrets are located there. One of your missiles should take care of them, but as there are several, you will need to make more passes.

If you destroy alot of the enemy planes, the generators, the missiles, then the Mega Missile (in that order) you will [/b]for sure[b] get the "S" ranking.

I had an idea that they were located over the East/West tunnel, but for the life of me, I couldn't locate exactly where to take 'em out..................!

I saw them launch (Duh!)...that should have given me a clue, but there are always a few that have to be hit over the head with a hammer;(

I have been trying for weeks to get "S"s on all the missions,but Whiskey Corridor is making me drunk..........and Tango Line is making me dance, and Emancipation is not exactly is not freeing me;(

I think I can get the big "M" now............Thanks again for taking the time to answer my post.

I have Ace Combat 0, 4,5, and 6.....plus one that is not exactly my cup of tea...(Blazing Angels).........but 4 is my favorite.
