By all means I am not trying to dis either of the game.

I really think Trigger and Cross were so different type of game with different fighting strategy and graphic and everything that there aren't much to tie those together.

For me Chrono Trigger is one of the best RPG I have ever played, and Chrono Cross, well I sold that game on ebay, it wasn't my favorite. Chrono Cross was a good game on its own but I really didn't enjoy the game myself. Too many characters, cheap tech skills, graphics wasn't as likable...

Chrono Trigger is better in everyway in my opinion. (Otherwise I would not be posting this on Trigger forum) I hope Chrono Break is going to be more like Chrono Trigger than Chrono Cross. I know they didn't get Toriyama and other CT developers in Chrono Cross and that was a big turn off.

Yea I didn't really like Chrono Cross either. For some reason it didn't appeal to me. Some of the characters that joined your party were just plain stupid I guess. I mean the puppy and a voodoo doll. Not cool.

I didn't mind teh charters. The game play was better in Chrono Trigger. So I found it better than Chrono Cross. And CT was was an exelant game (6/like 27 RPG's for me).

Yeah Chrono trigger was better and have better attacks.Bosses in CT were nice.

Everything in chrono Cross was just too simple. Like for instance in Chrono Trigger if you fight the Golem Twins without luminare, you are in for a very tough battle. Also, CT just had a feel about it that CC didnt. A magic feel. Thats the only way to describe it.

listen I hated Chrono cross for one you need to bet it 3 times to to get the good ending and some of the endings just didn't make sense like the japanise girl just walking? but you guys haven't played Radical Dremers the pre chrono cross IT sucked but anserd a lot of the gaps in chrono cross like magil, And that secret messege from chrrono cross and it's gameplay was graphicles it was like reading a book the olny diffrence was it was like choose to go left or right, attack or defend and it was a Snes game after chrono trigger made by same people "Radical dreamers was olny In jap so i decided to translate and make a rom of it i think the same rules aply must delete within 24 hours or it's illegal unless you own the jap version but I dunno"

I played Radical Dreamer, too. And I am sure you can find Kid-Schala thread in Chrono Cross, too. The Japanese girl walking in the street is Kid/Schala released from Lavos.

Plot for Chrono Cross wasn't so bad. They did a good job considering the fact that Chrono Trigger was something really hard to make the sequel to. Chrono Trigger's plot was better though. I'd think that some of unclarified topics will be answered in Chrono Break.

I like Triggers Storyline better but at parts it gets dull.
And I like Cross's battle system better with the elements and all. All in all I think the both of them are equaly Good.

Ha! you simply didn't GET the game, so you're pissed off at it because it was beyond you!

Well uh whatever but anyways I liked Chrono Trigger better I dunno why that game was just realy good I loved the storyline I unno why and Frog was cool..

frog was cool, but alot of the story is confusing and frustrating, also the music isn't as good as in CC!

That is so true Golden Chocobo, but I think the music from CC is better than from CT. I like frog as well.

I liked both games almost equally. But if I have to chose then I am going with CC, because I liked the story in it better. The graphics really meant nothing, but the battle system, game play, and the story were alot better...

I Like Chrono Trigger better for a lot of reasons.
Mainly because of the battle system. In CC it was so dull that you barely get any Team combos...Were in CT you get it for every single person. The other thing I hated in CC was the Music, Some was ok but the rest were really not all that great. I mean the music sucks compared to CT,
Because CT had some Epic music while CC sounded like the same old music...over and over.

Also In CC there were too many character and not enough of the one's that meet my standards as a Hero. I mean I hated all those Demi humans and deform looking people...
I mean seriously I think that just Crono, Frog ,and Magus alone is better than all of the CC characters. Why?
because CT's character was more involved in the Story. Also they had unique style skills. While CT let everybody use the same skill and allowed on Tree specials minimum for each person. Chrono is better than Serge...way cooler.
Frog is as cool as Glenn...but Glenn is possibly the only worthy character in CC. Magus...well Magus is way better than anyone you can name in CC. The only thing good about CC was the girls...

I can go on and on..but I no going to, This is my opinion. Dont agree quote me. But I feel everything I said was True and Square could have brough the Chrono series to a knew level, like they did in the FF series.
Instead of giving us a "Weak" sequal with so many changes and new systems that suck eggs...
