I dont understand what this one ending I got is meaning. Its the Life Skips a Beat one and I dont know whos who or whats happening. Can someone fill me in?

Which ending are you talking about? There are several endings in this game, depending on how you ended.

If you beat the game in the right way, you will see the most complete ending for all the characters plus a prelude to Chrono Cross. I love that part of it.

I think Life skips a beat stands for what happened because they got rid of Lavos. The history and future changed so more people died, more people lost family members, or history made Changes that were Tragic and or not meant to be.

No its an anime cutscene. It starts with a pendulum swinging and then it shows two shadows fighting. One kills the other a fire starts. Then it shows the pendulum again and it shows these dead people on the ground with the Masamune (I think its the Masamune or its just a sword), a hand picks it up, the pendulum swings and it ends.

What do you think I was talkin about. The "Anime" ending where a lot of people died because of some war. Most likely caused because Crono changed the Future.

That ending is the prologue to Chrono Cross.

They are showing that couple of years after Crono and Marle married in 1000A.D. the nation is destroyed by incoming war with neighboring country. (This already had happened in Chrono Cross)

You can assume that probably both Crono and Marle were killed then. (Unless they left to another time with Epoch) Lucca survived, and she forms a foster form for lost kids. Kid from Chrono Cross grows up there.

Because Masamune is lost, whoever that had Masamune was also killed then. Whoever took the Masamune is not known, but I assume that it was either a soldier or a king of a country invading. Either way, the sword is later inherited to Dario in Chrono Cross.

Though this may be true, I really doubt Crono had died so easily because of this. We aren't sure if he died, so we cannot just say "Hey maybe Crono Died", because hey, maybe he didn't.

You are right. They can be all still well and alive.

We aren't even sure whether Lucca was killed by Lynx in Chrono Cross. All we know is that Chrono, Marle and Lucca's child ghost hangs around the beach and Chronopolis, but again that doesn't mean that they are dead.

Crono and company being killed that easily? I guess, If they were stampeded by 1000 poire soldiers, even they couldnt handle it. If Crono did die that way, Im sure he Fried plenty of soldiers with Luminaire...

Hmmm... These plotholes... perhaps this would make good for a Chrono Cross/Trigger Sequel in which it is about what happened?? Like where Magus went off to, or if someone did get stuck in time.

It would have been cool if you could visit Chrono Trigger places in CC, but you couldnt...

I really think that maybe chrono cross isnt ment to be a DIRECT sequal to chrono trigger I mean maybe they did what final fantasy does and just took some charecters with the same name and put them in both games maybe chrono cross doesnt happen after chrono trigger at all but in its own world (like each final fantasy) i mean sure their are a lot of hints that they are set up one after another but you never know. and about crono dying thats bullcrap someone that cool cant just die by some normal soldiers maybe he just went wherever magus went.
