The SNES version of Chrono Trigger is very rare. It took my days to find it, I wanted to play the SNES version because the PS version is way too slow for the loading time.

Man,my counsins' counsins lost it.

I even had Dragon Ball Hpyer Dymension(a Dragon Ball Z game,I think only in Japenese).

i actually see it all the time, i think at my block bust right now they got like 5 copies, but they sell for like $25 even in block buster

i didnt have a comp at the time and it took me 3 months and 6 states of searching for this game. another that i was lucky to get b4 they stopped making was Lufia 2...Great Game

I'm so glad I kept all of my old SNES games, save for the FF series.. which is killing me.. because now I have to hit up ebay.
Everything else though, mario games, chrono, SoM, earthbound, Secret of Evermore.. all those are nice and safe.

I've checked yardsales for old SNES games, but obviously most people buy them to resell them. Anyone with a computer knows how much most of them go for at ebay. And no, I don't think Chrono Trigger is a rare game, same with FFVII. It's just the fact that they were so popular, and continue to be, that demand is really high for them.

well i dont know how rare it is but i will tell u how lucky i am when i was 12 my dad had a girlfriend that moved in and her 5 year old son brought his snes and ff1 ff2 ff3 chrono ff mystic quest and some other games cant remember but he got an xbox and gave them to yes thnak u jesus that was four years ago

If you admit that you have only seen one or two copies of the cartridge in person.. and then try and say that its not a rare game, then you're not even making sense.

I've seen ONE cartridge in my life, and that's the one my brother bought me online for my birthday when I was like 8..

So yes, it's definitely a rare game.

Chrono trigger is the best snes game ever and should be remade for the DS making use of the touch screen to make the game evn more awesome

Chrono Trigger is already out on the DS! Ps the SNES version is NOWHERE NEAR as rare as you would like to believe (especially after buying it for a large sum on ebay). I see more copies of it on ebay popping up than many other SNES titles. The sellers know that some fools will pay just about anything, hence the high prices and description below it claiming its a hard to find item, to try and convince the user, who is usually a retro or gaming nutcase with far too much money. Hardly any games for the SNES can be found on the high street, but that doesnt make them all rare. What would be rare would be NOT finding a copy of Chrono Trigger for sale at all on ebay!
