I'm new to Dominion Wars, and I am experiencing several problems:

- The mouse is acting very stupid during missions and does not move right away when I want it to.

-When I try to install patch 1.01 to 1.04, I get an error message saying "Old File Not Found. Howver, a file of the same name was found, so the update will not be completed".

-Fed mission 3: What the heck? How am I supposed to take out 12+ Dominion fighters and the OWPs?

I'm running Windows XP, latest NVidia video card, 1800 megahertz processor.

I have the same problem. Please help somebody!

well first off id like to say i have the same problemo here in the mishons the mouse moves so slow you cant do anything i have a feeling it might be because its on XP which it wasnt desinged for. and to answer your Q about fed mish 3 its easy first off draw attention to the dominion forces preferably 1 or 2 at a time but make sure it is away from the OWP's and the main generator this shudnt b much of a problem after you take out the ships (or yo could do it in sectors bcuz the ships usualy hang around the OWP's) go for the OWP's now the best way to do this is to get to a distance where they cannot fire at you but you cant at them it does take a while but well its either that or go to them and risk being destroyed or waitin in cloak for ages for repairs. do all the other OWP's then its n easy shootin practice on the main generator. just remember and think about thats y they gave u the defiant bcuz of its cloakin ability.

ps im running on a laptop p4 2.66ghz, 512mb ram 40gb hdd, radeon (ati) card n windows xp b4 i was runnin on 98 which it was meant for and i think that is where the prob cud b tho i cant reely see y so i guess im just addin another help on here 2

i have the same problem. i also have the ddraw enumeration error thing - i was told that the patch would fix it. so i can't get anywhere if they both don't work. [i][/i](Really need help)

I tried patch 1.5 and the mouse would still act very laggy.

if u are running xp set the dominion icon to run in win89/me compatability mode.. rt click on icon,properties,compatability tab.... check run this program in compatibility mode

I have updated my Nvidia geforce3 drivers, and installed the 1.05 patch, and the game works, sort of...the graphics constantly appear and disappear. Does anyone have any suggestions????
