i have diablo 2 but should i get diablo?

go find one at EBGames... and if its less than 5 dollars, go get it...if its higher than that, don't even bother...its not worth it. Unless if you wanna learn the story of diablo...but other than that, its not worth it.

If you've only played D2, then my answer would be - yes - go get the first one. But then again, only if you're interested in getting the entire Diablo-story.

u should DEFINITELY get diablo 1... it is actually better than diablo 2 in a lot of ways.
diablo 1 had excellent gameplay and is highly addictive.
Diablo 2 has no "soul" to it (if pc games have souls....),i played diablo 1 for years, when diablo2 came out... i was really dissapointed,its as if they thought they could just make lots of items and big levels and it would be ok... not the case.
I have the Diablo battle chest and only play diablo 1.
the gameplay doesnt "flow" in D2 like it does in D1, theres nothing like getting 3/4 players in D1 and just romping through to big D. Despite the amount of items in D2, the system is way better in the original, its much more well thought out, D2 uses the "bigger is better" approach.
So if you want to play a really good game with great gameplay- do yourself a favour and get diablo 1, jump online and start playing! see if u can beat diablo on hell difficulty without cheating.
just look for legit players, the only prob with D1 is the amount of cheating on multiplayer.
