Unkown Disease. |
|
When me and my friend were talking about our future ambitions on the way home, he told me that he wants to become a doctor and a genes researcher to find a cure for his little brother. He explained that his condition is extremely rare and approximately only 4 people in britain (or the world i dont remember which it was) have this.
When i asked him what his little brother's(Ali) disease was, he said that his genes are corruped and that hes unable to speak and other things aswell. Do you guys know what disease this is?

quote Azad GI've heard something related to this before, about genes being corrupted and having certain features disabled because of it. Never knew what it was, or forgot what it was called. ------------------- Lock up your daughters, shoot your sons 'cause I'm comin' to town!!

quote ZeekYou might be thinking of a way to tell if someone has this disease or not; a person's chromosomes will tell you if they have genetic-based diseases or abnormalities. For example, if you were to examine someone's karyotype and discovered three copies of chromosome 21 (instead of two), it would tell you that they have down syndrome. Chromosomes could also be damaged, inverted, or just missing altogether. There's a fairly good sized list of genetic disorders on Wikipedia. I can't say that I know any off the top of my head that restrict speech; just speech difficulties. I wish him the best of luck. ------------------- ![]() DeviantArt
