Did you do some kind of a strenuous workout yesterday? Maybe played sports for a long period of time? If you did then it's fine for your muscles too ache, to avoid this you need to warm up and cool down. Also having a warm bath (with or without muscle relaxing ointment) is good to sooth the aching pain. It'll go away within a few days with stretching and moving about.

will it be because i strained my body too hard and i didn't warm up properly before exercising?
My mum's friend said it was because i am growing as a teenager and its my muscles taking effect...

i did PE at school the other day. I am 13 and i am thin, not overweight, not underweight, just right.
I did a 100m sprint which i came 4th in and then a 800m run that i came 2nd to last in because i felt sick, muscles where aching and i was tired. I was 1st last year, i do not know whats happened!

Doing the 100m and the 800m without a good warm up and cool down would be the most likely cause of your aching muscles. Also the fact that you're going through puberty and you'll be growing. Just try too stretch and do a proper warm up and cool down every time you'll be doing physical activities.

I wouldn't take a pin killer, your body will sort itself out. Leave the pain killers for the more serious events (trust me).
Take a hot bath and relax, keep the blood supply to the areas of pain high by massaging to aid faster repairing of damaged muscle. ------------------- ![]()
