Pains after Cross Country Run |
|
i did a Cross Country run about 7 hours ago, and my back, beck, legs and feet have been aching really badly. The worst is my back - when i walk i feel loads of pain on my spine.
My Questions Are: Have i pushed myself too hard, or is this normal for the aftereffects of long distance running? What can i do to help the pains, and how long will they take to go away. I have already took some painkillers (ibuprofen) which havent worked, and i tried to go to sleep but i just cant sleep. Please help! thanks | |

If some of the pains are muscular pains i persnally don't think there is anything better than Arnica cream, i use it after every rugby match and it helps so much. For pain in you back try putting a hot water bottle down their, the heat should ease stiffness and reduce the pain.

Its normal to feel pain in your back after you have ran a distance your body isn't use to running. And for pain killers, they take different affects on different people.
